FRONT IDLER SYSTEMS
RECO is a leading supplier of mill liners.
RECO’s Splined Front Idler System Provides:
Increased life
Decreased downtime
Reduced maintenance costs
Simplified installation
Extended Life Design
Interlocked shaft and idler – Splined shaft and idler ensures that wear occurs at the bushing and thrust plate, greatly increasing shaft life. This also reduces the idlers tendency to oscillate as the system becomes worn, preventing damage to track shoes.
Doubled bushing surface area – Two outboard manganese bronze bushings provide more than twice the surface area of other systems. The increased surface area creates a proportional reduction in bearing pressure, which increases life by more than twice that of other systems.
Reduced bushing block wear – Larger diameter thrust plates absorb loads from steering and isolate wear to the idler surface.
Extended bushing life – Reversible bushing blocks allow the bushing to be flipped 180 degrees allowing the lesser-used portion of the bushing to be moved into a load bearing position.
Extended Life Design
Bearing blocks and bushings can be replaced as a unit independent of the shaft.
Bushing wear can be monitored externally.
Bushings can be replaced without separating the crawler belt.
